Process of reporting
I’m a mandated reporter with a child protection unit
- Complete and Submit the Safety Concern Form
- The form will be sent to the Family Care Authority, Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, and the relevant child protection unit.
- You will receive a notification that your Safety Concern Form has been received and the name of the Case Manager.
- If you do not receive any notification within a week call the FCA on 800444
- If the case is an emergency and the child is in imminent danger call 999 and send the Safety Concern form to the relevant CPU & the FCA

- If the case is an emergency and the child is believed to be in imminent danger call 999 and send the Safety Concern form to the FCA
The competent authorities and the concerned entities shall:
Protect the child from all forms of neglect, exploitation and abuse and from any physical and psychological violence that exceeds the limits of the Sharia and the Law, such as the rights of the parents and their equivalents to discipline their children.
You will be asked for information to help determine the best course of action. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details at this stage; the priority is to swiftly share the Safety Concern Form with the local authorities as your report may be crucial to protecting the safety of the child.
